Born from the fynbos hillsides and wild Atlantic shores, Honey Explores is a deeply personal guide
to the two most breathtaking provinces in South Africa. We lead small, private groups through landscapes
that most visitors never see — ancient forests, dramatic coastlines, living cultural traditions,
and the sweet air of the Winelands.
Every tour is crafted around you. No crowded buses. No rush. Just the Cape, unhurried.

Curated Experiences
Eight unforgettable journeys
Each tour is privately guided, fully customisable, and designed to reveal the soul of the Cape — one landscape at a time.
From the oak-lined streets of Stellenbosch to the penguin colonies of Simon's Town — the Western Cape rewards those who linger. Scroll through our four signature routes.
01
Cape Town The Mother City
At once cosmopolitan and wild, Cape Town sits beneath the flat-topped sentinel of Table Mountain.
We explore the Bo-Kaap's cobbled streets, the V&A Waterfront, and hidden viewpoints that leave
first-timers speechless — and return visitors searching for words.
Rolling vineyards folded between granite mountains, grand Cape Dutch homesteads, and tables set
under century-old oak trees. The Winelands are best enjoyed slowly, with good wine and unhurried
conversation. We know which cellars still feel personal.
Chapman's Peak drops sheer into Atlantic swells. Cape of Good Hope marks where two oceans
argue their boundary. And at Boulders Beach, African penguins waddle between sunbathers
with absolute indifference. One of the great day drives on earth.

04
Garden Route & Tsitsikamma Forest
500 kilometres of undulating forest, lagoon, and cliffside highway. The Outeniqua mountains
form the spine; the Indian Ocean is the pulse. In Tsitsikamma, 800-year-old yellowwood trees
dwarf everything — including your sense of time.

Destinations
The Eastern Cape
Wilder, emptier, and quieter than its western neighbour — the Eastern Cape holds Big 5 safaris, ancient coastlines, and Xhosa culture that few tourists ever encounter. This is the Cape less told.
01
Addo Elephant National Park
The Eastern Cape's Big 5 sanctuary, and one of the most ethical wildlife experiences on the continent.
Dense bush, red dust roads, and elephants that move with a silence that still surprises after
all these years. We guide small groups on private game drives at dawn, when the animals own the roads.

02
Wild Coast Transkei Expedition
Arguably South Africa's most untouched coastline. Xhosa villages perch above river mouths.
The Hole in the Wall stands as legend. Coffee Bay sunsets are unrepeatable. This is the Cape that
time and tourism have mercifully overlooked. We know when to walk and when to simply be still.

03
Valley of Desolation
Dolerite columns rise 120 metres from the Karoo plain, sculpted by forces 180 million years
in the making. At sunrise, the light turns the columns gold. At night, the Karoo serves one
of the darkest, most spectacular skies in the southern hemisphere.
The name alone means something to surfers on every continent. Supertubes is the wave; the town
is the culture. We explore J-Bay beyond the breaks — the shell museum, the beach-shack cafés,
the long sweep of coast that inspired a generation of ocean lovers.

Meet Your Guide
Hello, I'm Honey
I grew up on the Garden Route — those ancient forests, wild coastlines, and the particular quality of light over the Indian Ocean that I still find extraordinary every single time. Long before I became a guide, this landscape shaped how I see the world — slowly, curiously, and always with enough time to really look.
Since 2009 I have led private groups through the Western and Eastern Cape — specialising in the Garden Route, the coast I know best. Each journey is designed around what the land has to offer that day, not a printed itinerary. I speak English and Afrikaans, know the best cellars that don't appear on any list, and will always find you a table at sunset with no other tourists in sight.
Groups of up to 40 guests are welcome — whether you're travelling with family, friends, or a corporate team, every experience is private, personal, and entirely yours.
