Stellenbosch, Franschhoek & the art of slow travel
The Cape Winelands are best explored slowly — with no agenda beyond the next glass, the next view, the next conversation with a winemaker doing something interesting. This full-day journey takes you through two of South Africa's most beautiful wine valleys, unhurried and private.
We don't tick boxes. We sit in cellars worth sitting in, lunch where the view earns the food, and return as the mountains turn amber at golden hour. Honey knows every back road and every passionate small producer in these valleys.

Your Day
08:30 — Hotel Pick-Up
Depart Cape Town or Stellenbosch with coffee and local rusks. Honey sets the scene for the valley ahead.
09:30 — Stellenbosch
Stroll the historic oak-lined streets. Visit the university quarter, taste at a carefully chosen cellar, and hear the story of the Cape's oldest wine town.
11:30 — Boutique Estate Tasting
A private tasting at a small producer — the kind of cellar where the winemaker is likely to pour your wine themselves.
13:00 — Franschhoek Lunch
A long, unhurried lunch at one of the valley's finest restaurants. Wine pairing available.
15:30 — Second Tasting & Valley Drive
One more cellar — Honey's personal pick of the season. Then a slow drive to catch the afternoon light on the mountains.
18:00 — Return
Back to your accommodation as the sky turns gold over the winelands.
